25 TT Wednesday 1st August 2012 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
This is to confirm that the 25 TT will take place
this coming Wednesday 1st of August with the first rider off at 7.30 pm
with Jim Reid timekeeping.
We meet at the Glengoyne distillery with the start nearby.

The route is straight out to the Rob Roy
roundabout outside Aberfoyle and back, finishing
near the Beech Tree Inn.

Weatherwise - it looks like much of what we've been
having over the weekend, showers with perhaps sunshine.
Ye pays yur money ....

As for marshalls, we normally need someone out at the
Rob Roy to warn traffic of approaching riders and to
provide cover after the last rider has turned for home.

For those who may have never done the 25 TT but have been out on
a Wednesday night APR training run to the Oakwood roundabout,
you will have covered the same distance without the wee nasties at
Blanefield and Peacocks to contend with, so don't be shy - give it a go
and get your name and time into Gale history !

Look forward to seeing you out there.

Cheers
Roy

No, under no circumstances. Your Garmin's broke, you're drunk, stop talking crazy.

Think something might have gone a bit wrong in the time keeping. Think the torrential rain must have made it hard to spot who was finishing!

A vague time for me was about 1:10 from my stopwatch. I know I got passed by some folk, Keith, Phil and Doug to name but a few. Also finished very close behind Allister if that helps sort out the finishing order. Might also explain Phil's time being out by a minute.

Also thanks to those who did help out.
