This is just a quick acknowledgement of a fantastic run which involved,
as the heading suggests, five ferries plus two islands, two peninsulas and a
a stretch of the mainland plus 18, or was it 19 ? riders but not necessarily in that order!
I still can't believe I was on the Mull of Kintyre yesterday, Islay was just another ferry trip away ! What a country we live in !

Thanks to Robin, Davie and Mark of Solid Rock who under their Thursday Night Run
gig pulled together a mixture of Solid Rock regulars and Gales for the 80 mile tour.

It was a long happy day where the only hurting was of the normal kind - my legs don't trust me anymore !
