| Rules and Points system The following was devised for the 2008 season. Rationale for the changes... 1) To improve the standard of competing club rider 2) To introduce members to a more varied program 3) To encourage more club members to take part in the open circuit |

From 2009 a ladies league will run in conjunction with the confined league. The winner of the ladies league will be the highest placed lady based on their overall standing in the confined league. Points will be awarded based on their finishing position in an event not based on the ladies 1,2,3 etc. All rules applying to the overall confined league also apply to the ladies league
In each event - 1st Place – 11 points. 2nd place – 10 points. 3rd place – 9 points. Thereafter descending 1 point per place. Each competitor on the night outside the top 10 gets the same – 1 point.
Guests and 2nd claim members can compete in the Wednesday night league but are awarded no points and cannot win any of the trophies awarded or set any club records. Each guest or 2nd claim finishing in the main points (10 down to 2), will be excluded and each full member moves up the relevant number of places.
New members can join in the league at anytime. They will be added to the duties list.
For those officiating on a particular night (and competing in the Wednesday night league) they will be awarded 2 points for each Wednesday.
Those that are due to officiate can arrange someone to deputise. The deputy must be fully trained in advance of the role they are covering.
Those that are due to officiate but do not turn up, come the end of the season their best result of the Wednesday night league will be changed to 0 points. Second no show then second best result is nullified, etc.
