Reading Roy's report in the office, started off with a few quiet chuckles, then a few more, ending up in tears - much to the concern off my colleagues. But then, they aren't cyclists, they wouldn't understand... Thanks Gales, was a great day out, lots of talk and banter, a day of memories too.

Roy: you and tha "Auchenshuggle bus" have much in common, you both turn up but always late and you both need pushed up the hills. great report and as the current holder of the quaich kindly donated by Johns family i'd liked to have been there, as it was i was out in Majorca and on the sunday, myself and alex had our own moment and thoughts of john.
